When playing scales and chords, swiping across the strings determines the direction of the playback, whether ascending or descending. Tapping on a note triggers its sound.

The scale positions correspond to the CAGED system, which comprises five patterns that cover the fretboard for each scale. To assist with learning the positions in any key, the chord shape for each position is displayed.

The tuner offers a chromatic mode as well as various tuning options.

Both the tuner and instruments use an adjustable reference frequency set to default A = 440 Hz within the range of 410 Hz to 470 Hz.
